For today's post, we've got two photos for two venues. The meal? Brunch: It kills the day with the lure of cheap boozy cocktails, which result in drunkenness followed by a nap, at which point it's 5 p.m. and hell -- where did the day go?

That said, I'm no stranger to brunch, as photos attest. For the low-brow plate (above), a veggie omelet can be had at this restaurant any time of the day or night. From the backdrop, you can likely guess which Florida institution serves these giant portions.

For the fancy dish, snapper tiradito is garnished with heat from

peppers, bite from citrus, and cream from sweet potatoes, a Peruvian

staple. The venue is as sleek as the presentation.

Where we eating? Take a guess in the comments. We'll announce the locations on Wednesday morning.
