Tanzy is scheduled to open in early May in Mizner Park in Boca Raton. The 7,000-square-foot restaurant/bar will be located adjacent to the space previously occupied by Sunrise Cinemas and currently undergoing renovation to become an iPic Theater.

The new entertainment complex is expected to generate about 300 local jobs. Tanzy is in the process of hiring bartenders, servers, bussers, food runners, and front-of-house position.

The iPic concept skews to an "affordable/upscale experience," so the theater itself will need to hire additional servers to deliver food and drinks to seated theater-goers.

The Boca Raton location will be the ninth iPic Theater in the nation. Another

South Florida location is slated to open in December in Gulfstream Park

in Hallandale Beach. They offer a Tanzy restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a third will be opened in the Hallandale Beach location. Each Tanzy has a culinary focus that is unique to the market.
