Happy hour. Every establishment selling adult beverages has one. It's that glorious magical hour (or four) when drinking away the stress of the day gets a little cheaper — which makes you a little happier. South Florida, with our laid-back, tourist-friendly culture, has so many happy hours to choose from, it can almost get stressful trying to decide where to unwind. The torture!

Luckily, we've found the best happy hours in Palm Beach County, where you can get everything from half-priced apps to a 3-4-1 drink deal. Relax people and bookmark this list for future relaxation.

Everyone knows City Cellar in West Palm Beach for its well-rounded wine list, seasonal food menu, and killer cocktails. And when it comes to happy hour, they deliver the goods: half-priced food and drinks from 4 to 7 p.m. And that happens Monday through Sunday. At two bars. The deal includes bottles of wine, cocktails, and well drinks. Hungry? Order up a whole pizza — including the Margherita, Capri, and four cheese — for less than $10 each. Select appetizers like veal meatballs, smoked fish dip, and fried calamari are also available for $5.50 to $6.75 each.

If you’re looking for a happy hour with a waterfront setting and tropical theme, head to Deck 84 in Delray Beach. This casual, modern American restaurant offers happy-hour pricing from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at each of its two bars (indoors or at the large covered outdoor patio one) where patrons receive half-priced drinks and select dishes. Think pulled-pork tacos, the chef’s daily flatbread, steamed mussels, chicken wings, and more.

You don't often equate French fare with happy hour, but at Le Rendez-Vous in West Palm Beach, the happy hour (Tuesday through Sunday) makes for a pleasant pairing of both. It starts at 4:30 p.m. and goes to 7 at the bar (then continues again from 9 to 10:30). Specials include $5 mixed drinks and $3 draft beer as well as $6 house wines. You can also get 20 percent off food with a special bar and late-night happy hour eats menu. Ask the bartender what the special feature cocktail of the night is: The restaurant offers a number of creative custom cocktails created by mixologist Benjamin Chiche, named one of the best French bartenders in 2013, when he placed third at the Bacardi Legacy cocktail competition in France.

Since its debut in Palm Beach in September of 2014, Meat Market has earned raves for its contemporary cuisine, creative cocktails, and bustling atmosphere. The restaurant, located at 191 Bradley Place, has just announced the launch of happy hour, available at the bar and lounge, seven days a week from 4 to 7 p.m. Certain to become a go-to destination to wind down the day, happy hour at Meat Market features an all-star lineup of libations and bites, all affordably priced. Cocktail specials include $10 glasses of Veuve Clicquot Brut, Yellow Label; $8 Classic Belvedere Martinis and $7 signature cocktails including Lychee Martini; Pimm’s Cup; MM Mojito; and the Highland Sandia – Avion Silver tequila with Cocchi Americano, fresh crushed watermelon, citrus and agave. Select wines, available by the glass, are priced at $7, and specialty beers cost $3.50 to $4. To accompany these libations, chef and co-owner Sean Brasel and chef de cuisine David Valencia have created a stellar selection of snacks and bites including chilled shrimp with 10 Thousand Island dressing ($4 each); oysters on the half shell ($2 each); the MM slider duo – two Kobe beef sliders with bacon and gouda cheese ($14); tuna tartare with avocado smash and mango mole ($14); fresh Florida stone crab claws (MP); and the MM daily ceviche, which is a rotating chef creation featuring the freshest seafood available ($9).

Delray Marketplace’s new restaurant, Apeiro Kitchen & Bar, offers the palates of Palm Beach its contemporary Mediterranean cuisine and refreshing craft cocktails, all in a white-washed, buzzing ambiance. Recently, chef-owner David Blonsky and South Florida restaurateur and partner Burt Rapoport announced the launch of happy hour available daily from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The happy-hour menu features an all-star lineup of libations and bites, and drink specials include half-priced house spirits, bottle beer, red and white wines by the glass, and specialty cocktails priced at $6 each. For $12 per glass, try the house-made sangria, or for $30 get a carafe. Sangria variations include Spanish Torres Sangre de Toro, with Torres orange liqueur, Torres 10-year Brandy, and fresh-squeezed orange juice; the Italian with pinot grigio, Belvedere pink grapefruit, Aperol, fresh squeezed orange and lemon juice; and French, a rosé with Pamplemousse grapefruit liqueur and cucumber. To accompany the drink, Apeiro is serving a selection of delectable small plates including spreads like hummus, eggplant caponata, pistachio yogurt with wood-oven baked pita; bacon-wrapped dates with sofrito sauce, manchego cheese and chorizo; the Margherita flatbread with oven-roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, and torn basil; and Nonna’s mini meatballs with tomato sauce, local ricotta, and grilled ciabatta bread. Apeiro "After Dark" features the same specials on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., plus an additional selection of drinks perfect for a weekend nightcap. Concoctions include Boozy Brew: cold brew coffee with RumChata, cream, and topped with root beer.

Everyone loves a sushi restaurant; not everyone loves the prices you'll pay to dine at one, however. That's what makes Kabuki Sushi & Thai in West Palm Beach a great spot to visit during happy hour, when the drinks (and food) are priced to move. The Clematis Street establishment offers its happy hour daily, from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring half-priced select cocktails, $2.50 beers, $4 sake bombs, and sushi rolls or tapas plates priced $4 to $6 apiece. Rolls offered include the California, JB, spicy tuna, spicy krab, shrimp tempura, and lava drop (krab, cream cheese, mayo, and eel sauce in a flash fried roll). The $5 tapas selections feature dishes like crispy tofu, nasu dengaku (grilled eggplant, sesame seeds, ad sweet miso sauce), gyoza, shmai, chicken lollipops (fried chicken drumsticks with sweet and sour sauce), scallop ceviche, seaweed salad, krab rangoon, and vegetable tempura. Then, wash your cares away with a wasabi martini, lycheetini, or the ginger martini. A selection of white and red wines are $4, or you can grab a Changi beer from Thailand for $2.50.

If you like variety, consider heading to Hurricane Alley in Boynton Beach. From 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday the restaurant's happy hour features a different food deal every day of the week. Food selections are varied: for $5 a plate, you can order a pair of the day's sliders (Monday), fried surf clams (Tuesday), two jumbo-sized conch fritters (Wednesday), a half-dozen chicken wings (Thursday), and four chicken tenders (Friday). Drink specials include $2.75 well mixed drinks, $4 martinis, $2.25 domestic drafts, $3.50 craft drafts, and $3 house wine. Our favorite happy-hour special, however, is the choice between a dozen Chesapeake Blue Pointe oysters or a dozen raw (you can also order steamed) middleneck clams for $8.50.
3. Kapow! Noodle Bar

Some happy hours aren't just about food and drink. It's also about the atmosphere, which you'll find plenty of every weekday evening at Kapow! Noodle Bar in Boca Raton's Mizner Park. However, you wouldn't be amiss in saying Kapow! also offers one of the best happy-hour eats menus around. From 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, the restaurant puts out its popular $4 snack attack menu, a total of 17 selections in all. Dishes range from tempura asparagus and roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts to steamed shrimp, short rib, or Asian mushroom buns, and dumplings, pork gyoza, or empanada wontons. And for drinks, from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, order your fill of half-priced glasses of house wine, $4 Sapporo, $5 draft beer, and $5 well mixed drinks.
2. Rhum Shak

They say it's always 5 o' clock somewhere. Well, it's basically always happy hour at Rhum Shak in Lake Worth, where the happy hour takes place every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. That includes specials on beer, wine, and liquor, everything from $2.25 draft pours and $4 house wine to $4 Fireball shots. On Friday, get BOGO deals on all appetizers from 5 to 7 p.m. (at the bar only). If that's not enough, every Saturday, the restaurant offers 40 percent off the entire menu (excluding peel 'n' eat shrimp) before 5 p.m. Really, the savings never end no matter what day of the week. On Thursday, it's 49-cent chicken wings all day and night. And on Tuesday, it's $10.95 for a full two-pound rack of baby back ribs (plus one side) from 5 to 8 p.m. Even if you always show up late to the party, the deal is still on Tuesday nights, when you can get 40 percent off everything on the menu from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

We've all grown accustomed to those two-for-one happy hour deals — basically another way of saying BOGO. But how many places do you know of that offer a three-for-one happy hour? With such a sweet deal, there's no taking the top spot on this list away from Delray Beach's Smoke BBQ. Its happy hour goes down seven days a week from noon to 7 p.m., with that crazy three-for-one wine and well drink deal in full effect, which includes Pinnacle and Deep Eddy vodka, Sauza tequila, Jim Beam bourbon and Buffalo Trace bourbon, Cruzan and Captain Morgan rum, Johnnie Walker Red, and more. Guests can also opt for a martini (or three), including the bar's own apple or lemon drop (with a $5 upcharge). If you're looking for brew, the happy hour includes two-for-one canned beers. Smoke offers more than 20 canned beers, and includes craft selections, so it still works whether you're drinking Bud Light or Cigar City Jai-Lai. The best part: The deal never ends. When you purchase your first drink, you'll get two drink tickets to redeem your next three-for-one (or two-for-one) drink. Can't finish it all in one sitting? Those coupons are good for 21 days from the date on the receipt if you return at happy-hour time. Customers can even switch what they drink — just as long as the drink they choose is of equal or lesser value. So start with a rum, then have a beer, and finish with a glass of wine if you like. During happy hour, all the appetizers (excluding the Cajun shrimp) are half-price, with choices like applewood smoked chicken wings (limited daily availability), nacho platters topped with pulled chicken or pork, homemade potato chips, pulled chicken lettuce wraps, Texas caviar bean dip, steamed or fried Parmesan Brussels sprouts, or mix-and-match sliders with a choice of turkey, pulled pork, or beef brisket.
