Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret; there are still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to enjoy a girls' night out, attend a fall beer class, or sample some wine during a pairing dinner, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Monday

Cigar City Beer Pairing Dinner

It's time to get excited. Excited for a world of creative beer and food pairings at The Blind Monk in West Palm Beach with a special beer pairing dinner theme: the meals of the day. The event kicks off tonight at 6:30 p.m., starting with a "breakfast" pairing -- followed by lunch, afternoon munchies, dinner, and a midnight snack. Lobster Sea Grill Wine Dinner

The Wednesday the Lobster Sea Grill in Fort Lauderdale will be hosting its very first wine dinner. Special guest Hugh Davies from Schramsberg Vineyards of Napa Valley will join the restaurant for a special opening reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. The four-course dinner prepared by executive chef Jeff Pfeiffer will be paired with wines hand-selected by Davies himself. Home Brew Night Fundraiser at Inkwell Pub

This Thursday, head to the Inkwell Pub in Margate for a chance to sample beers from local home brewers for a special fundraising event. Starting at 8 p.m., enjoy free samples from two South Florida-based brewers including Crooked Smith Brewing and 403 Brewing Co. Drink up, because a portion of the proceeds from the evening will go towards Oakland Park's Canine Assisted Therapy, Inc., a non-profit that evaluates and certifies dogs to work with disabled children and adults, children with special needs, veterans, hospice, patients, and nursing home residents. To add to the evening's entertainment, special guest and burlesque dancer, Lila Starlet, will be performing her Skintillating Siren burlesque show, evoking the Old Hollywood Glamour era. The Home Brew Night event will take place on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Inkwell Pub located at 238 N State Road 7 in Margate. The event is free, and open to the public. Autumn Equinox Beer Class at Total Wine & More

Each year, the fall season brings with it an abundance of wonderful, seasonal beers. That means plenty of Oktoberfest lagers, as well as the always popular variety of pumpkin ales. This year, step outside your comfort zone and enjoy a tasty exploration of the many classic fall beer styles, plus a taste of some other popular brews offered during autumn's seasonal beer bounty. To celebrate the fall equinox, Total Wine & More in Plantation will be hosting a special Autumn Equinox class on Thursday with a focus on all the fall beers the store has to offer. Breweries from across the country -- and the globe -- will be featured during this special presentation. The Fall Equinox Beer Harvest Class will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, at Total Wine & More in Plantation located at 801 S University Dr. Tickets are available for purchase online for $15 each.
