Tomorrow, eight of South Florida's most talented culinary students will compete for the regional title of Almost Famous Chef 2011.

And it's not only the title that these contestants will be fighting for! The winner will be granted an all-expense-paid trip to the finals in Napa Valley, California.

The Grand Prize winner will then be rewarded up to $20,000 and a one year paid apprenticeship; not too shabby for a student just entering the industry.

The dishes will be prepared by chefs who are currently enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Each participant will have their chance to present their creations to the audience and celebrity judges in hopes that they will make it to the finals.

When: Thursday, January 13, 2011
Time: 6- 8 pm Where: Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts
3221 Enterprise Way Miramar, FL 33025
