The next time you want to cook something healthy, plant-based and animal-free, why not download an app to help you get delicious recipes in a hurry?

Thanks to Sheri Grooms, and her newly-released app known as veganNOMMs, you can get easy vegan recipes downloaded right to your phone. The app, which she submitted to Apple for approval in June, is now available for download, and includes recipes for all types of snacks including "cheese" cakes, muffins, pancakes, bread and protein bars.

"These are all original, one of a kind, created-by-me recipes. From vegan breakfast recipes to vegan dessert recipes, I've got it. Many people believe that if you are a vegan, your diet is very boring; but I'm here to prove them wrong." says Grooms, of her app.

So far, VeganNOMMS has been a success -- sold in more than 30 countries including Ecuador, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Barbados -- and receiving three five-star reviews on Apple iTunes. And it should be: the apps' slogan: "powered by God."

Priced at $2.99, VeganNOMMs has more than 40 vegan recipes -- complete with pictures -- from basics like how to make raw chocolate, to more complicated dishes like cheese-less "cheese cake." VeganNOMMs also caters to fitness junkies who are looking for foods that are high in vegetable or plant-based protein.

Here's a good one: Grooms' own mango protein bread, made with Sun Warrior protein powder, coconut oil and fresh mango and sweetened with cinnamon, sea salt and agave nectar.

Home-schooled since first-grade, Grooms plans to continue her education at Daytona State College this fall. No doubt her own recipes will get more creative, as she continues to prove eating vegan doesn't have to be boring, monotonous -- or difficult.
