It has officially come down to the final two: The Pittsburgh Steelers vs The Greenbay Packers!
This year's Super Bowl is bringing in a lot of heat, especially considering the Pittsburgh Steelers are participating in the Super Bowl for the third time in six seasons -- while its been over a decade for the Green Bay Packers. The pressure is on!
Super Bowl 2011 is going to be an exciting and intense game, making your couch an unworthy option to celebrate the occasion. Listed are some of the best choices to follow your team; and for those of you who don't know the difference and just want a place to crash for a few beers and a good time -- we've got you covered too!
Pittsburgh Steelers Fans:
Eastside Pub: The Eastside Pub is located in east Fort Lauderdale (incase you have not guessed from the name) and will be serving ten dollar bucket specials (domestic beers). There will also be outside tables and seating to watch the game.
Wayward Sailor Pub: Located in the city of Oakland Park, Wayward Sailor Pub will have bucket specials along with two dollar hotdog and burger specials. There will also be contests and prizes.
Sports Den Pub: Sports Den Pub is located in Wilton Manors at Manor Lanes Bowling Center. During the Super Bowl game, there will be free hamburgers and hotdogs along with bucket specials and prizes. If the game is not in your favor, you can always take out your frustration on the bowling alley!
Kelly's Pub: For those of you in Hollywood, Kelly's got your back! Kelly's pub will be having bucket specials consisting of domestics for ten dollars and imports for fifteen dollars -- there will also be two dollar draft beer specials (16 ounces) and vodka specials. Smokers welcome.
Cafe Bluefish: Located in Fort Lauderdale, Cafe Bluefish holds a casual environment with an island feel. The menu includes seafood options with a caribbean twist. There will be bucket, draft and vodka specials for the big game!
Green Bay Packers fans:
Slackers Bar and Grill: Another Fort Lauderdale favorite, Slackers will be having five dollar domestic beer bucket specials and fifteen dollars for import buckets -- there will also be chicken wing specials. A different shot special will be called every hour.
Rosey Baby: Bringing a New Orleans feel to Fort Lauderdale, Rosey baby carries a wide selection of Cajun favorites such as boiled crawfish, steaks and seafood. There is daily food and drink specials -- there is a full liquor bar.
Lauderdale Grill: Lauderdale Grill is located in Fort Lauderdale on Cordova Rd. The menu includes ribs that are smoked daily in house. There will be bucket specials, Philly cheesesteaks and their famous cheese curds. During half time, Lauderdale Grill will be giving away a flat screen TV!
