No. 72: Curry Golden Crab From Bamboo Fire

It's impossible to eat a plate of curried golden crab, a special dish at Delray Beach's Bamboo Fire, and stay

clean. After you're done with the savory, spicy dish, you'll literally be covered in crab

shrapnel and curry sauce. To get at the meat, you have to first extract

it from the shell, which stewed in a delicious, Caribbean-inspired curry. It's full of cumin and coriander, little bits of onion and spicy habanero. And when all those spices work their way into the juicy, tender crab meat, perfuming it, the result is a spicy ode to the sea that's worth getting messy for.
