No. 67: Fresh Tomato Pizza from Pizza Time of Boca Raton
Something so basic and satisfying doesn't require the hyperbole of being touted as "the best" or "most authentic." Suffice it to say, this simple pie is a thing of beauty. Chewy crust served with the cheese on
bottom and smothered with a hearty (vaguely sweet) tomato sauce, shredded basil leaves and a
drizzle of olive oil on top, it's even better once it cools off making it an ideal candidate for takeout or delivery. It's only available in one size: Sicilian. It's large enough to share with two or three friends, but after one bite, you're going to want to hog this puppy all to yourself.
Pizza Time, 1001 SW 2nd Ave., Boca Raton. 561-391-9240.
