If you're in the market for a Christmas gift for your teenage niece who recently took up arms in PETA's war against the meat industry, keep on browsing. But in case you've got a hard-to-shop-for carnivore on that ever-growing list of people you forgot you have to buy for, Prime in Delray Beach is offering a limited-time gift card deal with a little something extra for you.

Get $100 worth or more in Prime gift cards, and you'll get a $50 bonus card for you. This deal will continue until Friday, December 14. But make sure you read the fine print, cause there are some restrictions that apply.

The gift cards you purchase for others are valid anytime, but the free bonus card that you'll receive is valid May through September of 2013 (something to keep in mind if you're planning to use it this winter). Also, the free bonus card is only valid for dining in, and it can't be used at lunch, on Saturdays, holidays, or with any other promos. While it should go without saying, you can't use the value on the card for tip and the card won't be replaced if lost or stolen.

Prime underwent a bit of a shakeup this year with the departure of Peter Masiello (who left to help open Damiano in Boca Raton) and the hiring of chef Johndavid Hensley to head the kitchen. Hensley has said he wants to focus on fresher, lighter fare, sourcing from local farms and producers whenever possible. He also has sought to swap out heavy butters and creams for fresh herbs and the like. If you have any questions about the gift card promotion, call 561-865-5845.
