We love our beer here in South Florida.

Sure, we may have been a bit late to the craft brew scene, but we're now one of the fastest growing markets in the country -- hey, we start slow, finish fast.

While we drink all the time down here -- Fort Liquordale is in our territory, obviously -- we have an excuse this week. American Craft Beer Week starts today and we have the scoop on all the participating bars and restaurants.

The Pub, Pembroke Pines

All week long, the Pembroke Pines bar is offering Sam Adams specials throughout the week. Every day it's featuring Sam Adams samplers with five ounce pours of its four drafts from the Boston brewery, including the original Boston Lager, Rebel IPA, Summer Ale, and Angry Orchard. Each of which has been matched up with a recommended food item for the week.

Riverside Market , Fort Lauderdale

Everyday of the week, this Fort Lauderdale spot is offering brew-centric events. Thursday it's Pizza with a Twist featuring Brooklyn Brewery and beer themed Twister. Friday it's hosting a Sam Adams tap takeover. Saturday is a Night of 1,000 IBUs, with a collection of the hoppiest brews on draught including Dogfish Head 120 Minute.

Laser Wolf, Fort Lauderdale

This neighborhood bar is celebrating local Americans by highlighting a local brewery every day of the week: Native, Inlet, Tequesta, Cigar City. It's moving on to Victory on Saturday night.

Himmarshee Public House, Fort Lauderdale

To honor the local heroes in the craft brew industry, this downtown Fort Lauderdale bar is offering $5 local crafts through Friday night.

d.b.a./ Cafe, Fort Lauderdale

This neighborhood bistro is keeping it local with a nightly dinner pairing. Each day of the week, the spot will be teaming up a Florida brew with a special entree.

World of Beer Coconut Creek

This Coconut Creek beer-haven is offering special releases all week to celebrate. On Monday it's offering 120 Minute IPA Bottles. Tuesday: Cigar City Ligero Black Lager. Wednesday: Funky Buddha Small Axe Big IPA. Thursday: Wynwood Flagler Saison. Friday:Southern Tier 2xOne. It's finishing up the week on Saturday with ACBW Flights.

The Backyard, Boynton Beach

The Backyard is keeping it local all keep long. It's serving ten great Due South brews everyday.

The Sybarite Pig, Boca Raton

The East Coast and West Coast rivalry is back again. But it's all about the beer this week. The Boca Raton beer bar is offering East and West Coast beer bucket specials throughout the week. The Sybarite will also be roasting a full pig on Sunday, and lining up their taps with Florida brewed beers to give you something to wash it down with.

Lion & Eagle English Pub, Boca Raton
