American Fine Wine Competition Hosts Wine Carnival at Bogart's

What's better than a carnival with its games of chance, prizes, bright lights, and crazed toothless carnies?  How about a carnival where the games are wine centric and everyone practices good dental hygiene?

The American Fine Wine Competition is hosting a Consumer Challenge Wine Carnival this Thursday, March 22 from 7 - 9 p.m. at Bogart's in Boca Raton.

The event, emceed by local sports radio personality Jeff "Defo" Deforrest, features wine-themed carnival games like ring in the wine bottle, wine pong (pretty much Boca's version of beer pong), and spin the wine wheel. There are eight games in all, for prizes that are a lot better than a cheap stuffed bear.

Guests will enjoy food prepared by Bogart's culinary team and a

selection of specially chosen wines.  In addition, twelve people will be

chosen to participate in a blind-tasting challenge of ten American

wines supplied by Crown Wine & Spirits.  The taster who correctly

identifies the most wines will win two tickets to the American Fine Wine

gala with chef Emeril Lagasse at the Boca Raton Resort & Club on

April 19.

Tickets for the event are $35, with proceeds benefiting the Youth Automotive Training Center.  Purchase tickets here.
