The Calle Ocho Festival 2009 took to the streets of Miami with what seemed like a crowd of 10 million drinking, dancing, party animals of all ages. They were hungry too. One of the many food vendors was Rancho Mateo Restaurant -- Asadero Colombiano from New Jersey. They were cooking flank stank over cherry wood on what looked like a medieval torture device. Before torture, though, they let the flanks sit for a bit on the outside rack "so it stays juicy." Then they serve it with two sides. You get to choose from salad, potatoes, and fried plantains. Why was the 973 representing in the 305? "It's the biggest Latin Festival in the whole nation, you already know."
