B.C. Tacos Up For Best Food Truck Taco of the Year

It's no surprise to anyone who's tasted a taco from B.C. Tacos that the blue truck that features Fred Flintstone's relatives has got a winning recipe for tasty food.

But even chef/owner Brett Chiavari was a little surprised when Mobile Cuisine named his truck one of the best ten taco truck in the country -- along with Miami competitor Jefe's Original Fish Tacos and Burgers.

Being listed in the top ten, like being nominated for an Oscar, should be

award enough. But as Lance Armstrong probably said many times -- there is no second

place.

Which is why Chiavari is driving a Twitter campaign to go

for the gold.  So far, B.C. Tacos is in a close second place -- with El

Gastronomo Vagabundo from Ontario, Canada in the lead.

Now, we

love our Canadian friends in Broward County and welcome them with open

arms each winter, but this is home town pride pure and simple -- our local truck must rule the world in taco finery!

To vote for B.C. Tacos, simply visit the Mobile-Cusine.com website and click on your favorite truck.  Voting ends Friday, March 1st at 12 PM (midnight) Central Time.

The winning truck will be profiled on Mobile Cuisine and will hold the title of Best Food Truck Taco for 2013.
