Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.

The 17th annual Best of Broward/Palm Beach issue comes out in June and celebrates the coolest restaurants, clubs, shops, bars, and services in South Florida.

Each year, New Times writers scour Broward and Palm Beach counties to find the most unique places from best burger to best thrift store. But enough about us...we want to know about you.

We want to know what you're thinking in our special Readers' Choice categories. That's where you can nominate your favorites in over 60 categories, including over two dozen food & drink areas.

Today is your last chance to share your expert knowledge of Broward and Palm Beach's best. Just visit readerschoice.browardpalmbeach.com until 11:59 p.m. today, April 30 and nominate your favorites.

We'll choose the top five nominees in each category and open final round voting on May 5.

The winners will be announced in our June 19 Best Of issue, available in print, online, and on our Best Of app.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering South Florida with no paywalls.
