Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.
Sure the weather looks lousy today, but the forecast calls for clearing by this afternoon, and you're going to need to bust out of the house after three full days of rain.
Lucky for you, Boat Show Night Out, the official preparty for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, is tonight at Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale from 6 to 10.
Enjoy live country music and DJs courtesy of KISS Country and more than 20 food trucks.
Partygoers
are invited to come by boat and tie up at the New River floating docks,
located adjacent to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
Don't have a boat? Plenty of parking is available for your four-wheeled mode of transport too.
Food
trucks serving dinner include Big Kahuna, Bite Gastrotruck, CheeseMe, Divan Bakery, the Fish Box, the Flying Saucer,
Guiseppe's Italian Sausage, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, the
MexZican Gourmet, Moty's Grill, Mr. Good Stuff, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho
Bizness, Nacho Mama's, the Rolling Stove, Slow Food Truck, and Sugar
Yummy Mama.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering South Florida with no paywalls.
