Celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in Broward County/ Fort Lauderdale !

Saint Patrick's day brings friends, bands, booze, bagpipers, flashy-green beads, tons of dancing (not excluding the rythmically challenged), Celtic tradition, and satisfying, starchy foods all bundled up into one day, topped up with a heavy dose of  Irish luck!

Here are some of the best places to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in Broward County.

Waxy O'connors

This traditional Irish Pub serves traditional favorites such as shepards pie, guiness beef stew, Irish style fish and chips and much more. Every Saint Patrick's Day, Waxy O'Connors attracts a large crowd. Start your evening off with an Irish dinner and end your evening with a couple rounds of Guiness!

Briny Irish Pub

Join the celebration -- Briny Irish Pub celebrates Saint Patrick's every year and they never hold back! Expect everything from bagpipers, to live music and drink specials along with tons of seating over looking the river. Located in Fort Lauderdale's Riverfront, feel free to test your luck downtown at the end of the evening. If you want to steer clear of the downtown scene, Briny Irish Pub also has a location in Pompano.

McSorley's Beach Pub

This year, McSorely's plans on setting up a tent in the back parking lot. Starting at 2 pm, there will be three bands and two DJ's that will be performing through out the day and into the night. Murphy's Law Irish Pub

Located in the Seminole Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Murphy's Law always draws a crowd. This Saint Patrick's Day, Murphy's Law celebrates by hosting a huge "Kiss the Blarney Stone" block party. There will be Karl Drake Irish Dancers, a sexy Irish Dance off contest, happy hour until 11 pm, DJ Malone and plenty of live music and harp playing. If your hungry -- there will be corned beef and cabbage! The party starts at noon and continues throughout the night, don't miss out on a day and evening full of festivities! 

Maguires Hill16

Wake up and celebrate with Maguire's Hill 16 and join their all day Saint Patrick's Day celebration. They will be setting up a tent and will be serving breakfast starting at 8 am. At noon live bands will start rotating throughout the day which includes traditional Irish music, Blues and Rock. Irish cuisine will be available along with Irish dancing and bagpipers -- making this is a block party you don't want to miss!

The Field Irish Pub

The Field Irish Pub celebrates with Celtic bands and multiple stages, a DJ, cloggers , leprechauns, bagpipes, Irish dancers, a full bar with drink specials, menu specials and more! They will also provide shuttle buses that will be running back and fourth to local parking lots, helping to assure that everyone will find parking -- leaving you know excuses not to join the fun!

Dicey Riley's

A downtown favorite, Dicey Riley's is a charming Irish Pub. Expect live music and drink specials along with an upbeat and diverse crowd. Every Saint Patty's Day, downtown has a block party and Dicey Riley's is in the center of it all! If you want to celebrate at an Irish Pub and bar hop (without having get in and out of your car, not to mention the parking nightmares), this is your place!
