Support the independent voice of South Florida and help keep the future of New Times free.
Only two more days until Clean Plate Charlie Night at PL8, during which diners at the restaurant between 6 and 9 p.m. on Thursday can weigh in on menu items to help determine the final cut.
At dinner, you'll receive this ballot, on which you can rank delicious dishes a 5, which equals
"Best thing I've ever eaten," to a 1, which translates to "Take it off the menu!"
Among the dozens of dishes to try are the brick-oven egg, the Reuben pizza, rock shrimp skewers, and the nut-crusted goat cheese croquettes (which are actually quite delicious).
The restaurant seems to be launching a campaign to change the spelling of seafood on its menu, which I kinda like myself, so we've kept SEEfood on our ballot.
Hope to see you Thursday night.

Keep New Times Broward-Palm Beach Free... Since we started New Times Broward-Palm Beach, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of South Florida, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
