Cupcakes And Chocolates For Christmas

Four women, two web-based companies, and innumerable sweet holiday gifts that you needn't leave your house to purchase.

Eileen Sanchez and Evelyn Dieppa are the "cupcake catering duo" of 2 Girls and a Cupcake,

and they're serving up sweet gift ideas for purchase online. The

Miami natives describe themselves as "two best friends just baking our

way through the American dream." Some of the seasonal flavors include

Chocolate Candy Cane (chocolate cupcake with white and red peppermint

butter cream sprinkled with crushed peppermint candies; Let it Snow

(coconut vanilla cupcake with vanilla butter cream topped with shredded

coconut); Guava Noche Buena (vanilla cupcake with guava filling topped

with cream cheese frosting); Santa's Red Velvet Suit (red velvet

cupcake with cream cheese frosting); Naughty or Nice (chocolate cupcake

with dulce leche filling topped with dulce leche butter cream) -- plus

vegan cupcakes such as cinnamon with dairy-free frosting. A dozen,

referred to as the Secret Santa Package, goes for $20, and allows

customers to write a special hint inside the cupcake. For an extra five

dollars, hopeless romantics can get their dozen topped with mistletoe.

Malli Gero and Ellen Pulda of,

"the world's largest chocolate market place", are offering personalized

chocolate lollipops, business cards, trading cards and picture frames,

each printed with an edible image of your choice -- photos of your

friends and family, logos of your business or fav sports team, and so

forth. There are thousands of other chocolate items in their inventory,

like truffles, caramels, barks, cookies and candies; quite a few go for

less $25, some much higher. We don't have a very Christmas-y photo to

show, but imagine Amanda below wearing a Santa hat rather than a

graduation cap:
