Have you told your mom just how awesome she is? After all, she stood by you when you were suspended from 11th grade for setting all the frogs loose from the biology lab and cheered you on when you received a degree in "the history of animated films" from that correspondence school in Latvia.

Clearly, she's the best woman on the planet. To show her (and the world) just how cool she is, you should enter her in Duffy's Sports Grill's Mom of the Year contest.

The sports restaurant chain is searching for one special mom to win the ultimate Mother's Day gift: a $200 Duffy's gift card, a $200 Massage Envy gift card -- and the title of "mom of the Year".

There are two steps to enter mom:

First, "like" Duffy's Sports GrillFacebook page, fill out the provided form and tell them why your mom is "the" mom by Thursday, May 9.

Then, once you've submitted mom, have all your friends vote for your mom on Facebook until Sunday, May 12. Note: customers can only vote once per day.

The mom with the most votes will be crowned "Mom of the Year" and win those awesome prizes.

Either way, if your mom is the sporting type, treat her to a special surf n' turf meal this Sunday. Duffy's is pairing a six-ounce flat iron steak with a lobster tail and choice of one side for $16.99. The offer is good all day Mother's Day at all Duffy's locations, so the two of you can catch up over a good meal most anywhere in south Florida.
