Proper pronunciation is key: "Awk-toe-beer-fest" will feature chef Jimmy Dean's own take on German pub grub, starting at the cutesy price of $8.88 a plate. To further up the New England quotient, Nantucket's own Cisco Brewers will be showcasing a line up of their new craft beers.

You might know Cisco (no, not that Sisqo) as the makers of Triple Eight Spirits, which Falcon House also sells. (That's because Falcon House owner Karl Alterman also hails from Nantucket.) It's craft brews sound pretty legit, too: Whale's Tale Pale Ale looks to be a clean, crisp British style ale with plenty of drinkability; on the more aggressive side are big beers like Captain Swain's Extra Stout and Baggywrinkle Barleywine, a sweet brew that clocks in at 10%.

There's no cover for the Falcon House's Acktobeerfest party. Just come down starting at 2 p.m. and check out the brews.
