Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate -- or better yet, a drink or three.

Whether you're hoping to watch some burger brawls, get decked out in your best pimp attire, or longing to listen to some live music while throwing back mimosas on Sunday morning, there's something for you to do in South Florida this Labor Day weekend.

5. Brew Bus Tour

This Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., Brew Bus South Florida will be hosting its I-95 Brews Cruise. The five-month-old beer tourism operation takes craft-beer-loving citizens on journeys to five local breweries to sample 12- to 16-ounces of beer at each stop, as well as however much they can drink on the bus. The minicoach has its own line of five beers prepared by Cigar City Brewing inTampa, such as the award-winning English porter Double Decker, rich with chocolate malt and roasted oat flavors. By the end, sobriety ranges from tipsy to hammered. For more information visit the website at southfl.brewbususa.com.

4. Johnny Longboats 14th Annual Cajun Festival

Johnny Longboat's, located in the Ocean Mall on Singer Island, will be hosting the 14th Annual Cajun Festival this Labor Day weekend. From 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 5 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, the restaurant and bar will be offering a specialty menu featuring authentic cajun eats like crawfish, seafood gumbo, oyster po' boy sandwiches, jambalaya, and fried catfish filets. The event will also feature live music from the Tampa-based cajun and zydeco band, the Porchdogs. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Disabled Veterans Adaptive Sports Program. The event is free to the public.

3. Japanese Snack Tasting

Ever wonder what all those colorful, weird-shaped, cartoon-looking Japanese snack foods taste like? If you're feeling adventurous, you can try them all for free at TATE's Comics. This week the comic book shop in Lauderhill is hosting its annual Summertime Japanese Snack Tasting, and offering over a dozen specialty Japanese treats. How does it work? First, print the coupon flyer -- just in case you want to buy some snacks after the tasting. Next, show up to the event anytime between 2 to 4 p.m. When you arrive, get yourself (and hold onto) a special numbered ticket. You are then free to spend your time waiting by leisurely browsing around the store. A TATE's representative will call everyone by number in groups of 10 or more for the tasting. Once your number is called, get in the sampling line and collect your snacks. Last, there's a fun questionnaire to fill out while you sample. When you're done, drop it in the designated comment box to enter into a raffle for -- wait for it -- some free snacks. Don't forget to bring a printed flyer from the Facebook page, and take advantage of TATE's one-day special offer coupon: buy two, get one free, on all snacks and drinks valid at both locations. TATE's Japanese Snack Tasting will take place on Sunday, August 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. TATE's is located at 4566 N University Drive in Lauderhill. For more information call 954-748-0181. This event is free and open to the public.

2. Single Malt Whiskey Tasting

On Saturday, from 6-8 p.m., the Piñon Grill in Boca Raton will be hosting a single malt whiskey tasting. Join the Macallan Distillery for an exclusive sampling of some of their finest whiskey, and receive discounted pricing on product purchased that night, including a buy-one-get-one on the 12-, 15-, or 18-year-old whiskies. Guests will also be able to purchase flights of Macallan for $25 per person. A Macallan representative will be on hand to provide patrons with a fascinating journey through the Macallan history, including "the six pillars" which make it so unique. The Macallan is one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed and has built a reputation as one of the world's truly great single malt whiskies. For additional details visit Facebook.com/PinonGrill, or call 561-391-7770. Guests do not have to pre-register for the event.

1. Labor Day Weekend White Brunch

Let's face it. You're probably still going to wear white after Labor Day. And you should -- you paid good money for that white blazer, bikini, and matching Louboutins. Of course, you'll also be set to attend the S3 White Hot brunch party this weekend. The Fort Lauderdale restaurant will be celebrating Labor Day with a special white-themed brunch. Even the drinks will be in white thanks to special guest of the evening, Moêt & Chandon's Ice Imperial champagne. The brunch menu will offer few specials, as well as the standard breakfast platters, sandwiches, sushi rolls, and small plates. All you need to do is show up in your chicest white attire, dance to music by Adam Foster & Fernando Diaz, and drink the day away with champagne at $10 per glass, or $50 for the bottle. S3 will be hosting its White Hot brunch on Sunday, August 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. S3 is located at 505 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. For reservations call 954-523-SURF.
