5. Italian-Themed Oktoberfest
Yes, we know Oktoberfest is supposed to be a German thing, but getting drunk crosses all nationalities. To get in on the beer consuming action, Vic & Angelo's is putting on the lederhosen - okay, not really - with an Italian-themed celebration. From Friday through Sunday 3 to 7 p.m., and again the following weekend, the Delray Beach spot is offering a flight of six beers and one appetizer from the antipasti menu for $25 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).

4. Edible Gardening
While gardening isn't exactly new or anything - unless you consider 10,000 years to be recent - it's kind of become the current trend. And just like acid wash jorts and belly bearing tops, not everyone can pull it off and have it work out. To help you in your home-farming endeavors, Karin Fields, also known as the Edible Gardening Gal, is holding her monthly class on Gardening in the Tropics at 10 a.m. this Saturday at Marando Farms. The course will explore topics ranging from garden location, soil, where to get seeds, which plants to pick, and more. The class is free and open to the public.

3. Sightless Chef Sizzler
Mother Teresa once said, "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." If you're reading this blog -- it is a food blog -- you obviously like food. You would probably put the most love into giving when you're eating. To help you share the love -- and money -- Red Tapas Bar and Grille is hosting the Sightless Chef Sizzler on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. to benefit the Beyond Blind Institute (BBI). Mike Hinojosa of Red Tapas, Roy Villacrusis of Aah Loi Thai and Sushi, and Aaron Jones of the BBI and a team of visually impaired and blind chef will be offering up delicious dishes to guests. Wristbands are $50 in advance, $60 at the door.

2. Indie Craft Bazaar: Paranormal Craftivity
For anyone looking to get drunk while shopping their way through the Halloween spirit, the Indie Craft Bazaar is going supernatural on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Being held at Revolution Live the bazaar will be featuring an array of Old Hallow's Eve activities ranging from adult trick-or-treating to DIY zombie slime to fortune telling and tarot reading. In addition to a number of craft and food vendors, the event is offering $5 Bloody Marys and $3 Mimosas. Entrance is $5 per person.

1. Sexy St. Tropez
While everyone's going on and on about Oktoberfest, the rest of the world is still moving along. Sure, the Germans know how to have fun -- at least when they're drunk -- but the French are still one of the sexiest European countries around -- although, we do get the whole beer wench thing, gentlemen. If you're looking to switch things up in the nationality partying department, Pistache French Bistro is hosting a sultry French Riviera themed party on Saturday night. At 5:30 p.m., the restaurant will start serving a $39 prix fixe dinner inspired by the South of France. At 8 p.m., the entertainment starts with cool French music and more.
