Are you ready for happy hour? What about some psychic intervention? Even if you don't care about any of the myriad celebratory offerings this weekend, you're going to have to eat something.

We perused the highs and lows of the Broward-Palm Beach area and cooked up this tasty menu of awesome destinations. Whether you're looking for unlimited booze, all-you-can-eat bacon, some activism while drinking, or a celebration of Papa Hemingway's birthday (it just passed), this list has everything you need.

5. The Psychic Cabaret

Take a chance and class up your life with Bona Italian's homegrown food and a live performance from psychic, Michael Jons. A mentalist and psychic entertainer, Jons has produced a show that is part mind-boggling, part hilarious. The Psychic Cabaret in a highly interactive experience that sees Jons talking with audience members to pinpoint things about their lives in Long Island Medium fashion -- be careful about who you chose as a date. It's a completely different twist on the dinner-and-a-show concept, one that will leave you looking like a rock star (hopefully). And that might even be because you make it onstage. There is no cost to attend, but you need to make a reservation. Showtimes are at 7 and 9 p.m.

4. B3BQ Bacon Beats BBQ

Bacon-lovers, rejoice: your fat-filled brunch is here. Every Sunday, Harold's Coffee Lounge hosts a breakfast/lunch hybrid of unlimited bacon (veggie bacon too), music, live art, vendors, and more. The cost to attend is $5. It takes place from noon to 6 p.m.

3. Happy Hour

To get you going on your merry weekend way, Valentino Cucina Italiana offers an unlimited happy hour every Thursday and Friday. Just 25 bucks get you unlimited top shelf drinks (from new-and-improved Old Fashioneds to inspired gin cocktails) and light bites from the kitchen. It takes place every week from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

2. Pilar Rum Pairing

It may have just passed, but Ernest Hemingway just celebrated a birthday -- hopefully, in spirit, if that's a thing. Pay the man some respect by drinking his favorite bevy. On Friday, Jazziz Nightlife is hosting Pilar Rum tasting at 7:30 p.m. For $40, try four rum samples paired with bites as well as creative Papa's Pilar cocktails. Visit events.r20.constantcontact.com.

Enjoy rum samples with 4 delicious tastings, each prepared with Papa's Pilar Rum.

Rum inspired cocktails will also be served during the pairing!!

1. #ToastToMarriage

While many Americans claim discrimination is no longer an issue, those folks are wrong -- and frankly dumb. With excitement, and then more disappointment, on the LBGT right to marry front in Florida this week, anyone who cares about the issue could probably use a drink. On Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., SKYY Vodka and Freedom to Marry are hosting a #ToastToMarriage event at Georgie's Alibi. The aim is to raise funds and visibility in the fight for marriage rights for same-sex couples. The special SKYY "Freedom to Marry" cocktail is being featured for the party and guests are asked to have their "Toast to Marriage" photos taken for the national campaign for marriage equality.
