For all you beer connoisseurs out there, or for those who just like to drink a few brews (or, as Kanye West says, "frew brews"), Riverside certainly knows how to put on a show. And by show, we mean a homemade beer brewing contest. Ten teams competed for a panel of judges as well as favoritism for spectator's palates. Categories included IPA, Double IPA, Stout, Pale, Amber, Beligian, Tutti Fruity, Brown, Malt Beverage, People's Choice, and Judge's Choice.

With these categories came a series of unique, weird, and crazy flavors that were sampled not only by judges and spectators but by fellow competitors as well. Here are the top 5 weirdest beers featured.

Doo Doo Brown Ale

If you're still reminiscent on those old 90's jams, this beer is for you. Crafted by the team 2 Live Brews, this cleverly named beer (as well as team name) has the standard alcohol for beer (6%) but has a different ingredient most beers don't - oak aged Hennessy. Guess this team was going for the whole Rapper's Delight package, huh? This beer was entered in the Brown Ale category.

Honey Basil

The Wellsclan made this sweet, herby beer. With 5% alcohol, it's not exactly the type of beer to get you frat boy wasted like a stout would, it certainly has a nice aftertaste to it. Think of it more as a starter beer for those who can't stand the "real" taste of beer.

Sakitome

Pronounced "Saki-to-me", this brew made by the team Invasive Species and entered into the Specialty Ale category. This beer was very light and refreshing but don't be fooled - it also a surprisingly high  alcohol content for beer: 8.5%. Sakitome also has unique ingredients -- saki and rice -- that make this beer stand out.

Flan?

If you love your abuela's flan (or your friend's abuela's flan), then this beer by 4th Age Brewing will certainly appeal to you! Created with caramel, it tastes very similar to the famous Latino dessert. After a few sips, you'll take a look and think "Flan?" (especially with its 11% alcohol content!).

Poor Ox

The #1 winner of this homemade brewery contest, this beer had an ingredient no other beer in the room had: a girl. Unlike the majority of the women there who were supporting their boyfriends or husbands, Poor Ox's Nicole was elbow deep in beer, talking to everyone about her recipe and handing out samples to those in line, some even coming back for more. Ryan, her partner, took a more passive approach and stood on the side. Poor Ox was entered in the IPA category and had 7.6% alcohol content.  It is a very hoppy beer and had Falconer's Flight (a type of hops) as the main ingredient to success.
