Free Pancake Day at IHOP

Doused in syrup, slathered in butter, served with a side of (syrup-drenched) bacon sounds good this morning. Should you stop by International House of Pancakes, a three-pancake short stack is free. All proceeds go to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. And please don't forget to tip on the actual price of the meal.

Free pancakes are available in-house only until 10 p.m., not for takeout, confirms an employee at the North Federal Highway location.

International House of Pancakes has staged its National Pancake Day event since 2006. According to the website, the company has raised more than $8 million for charity.
