Get Naked with Georgie on Valentine's Day

I've gone too long without giving a plug to my favorite little wine bar in Wilton Manors, the Naked Grape, a place where cozy hipness meets an imaginative selection of wines, a tapas menu, and the kind of lighting that makes everybody look good. And, our favorite bartender, Georgie, who turns 30 on February 14th, is inviting us all to celebrate his B-Day and V-Day rolled into one that evening with tunes courtesy of DJ Willy Vela. The Grape is selling a list of special Valentine's offerings, particularly handy for you foolish, foolish chumps who've waited until the last minute (I warned you!): the $85 "Aphrodite's Passion" includes a bottle of Roederer Anderson Valley Brut, 2 Reidel Champagne glasses, 4 pieces of Ingo Belgian chocolate, a champagne light kit and lamp oil -- everything you need to take your party with you, on the road, to the beach, to the boudoir. Highrollers may opt for the $125 "Toast of Venus" with Veuve Cliquot, more chocolate, and a cheese plate. I'd personally be happy with all of the above (hint, hint).

Also upcoming from the Grape: a week-long wine cruise with tastings and seminars through the Caribbean. Price is $1029 per person all inclusive for the 7-day cruise departing March 1. Call Travel Experience at 954-892-0381 for details.
