Idris brand Fiery Ginger Beer, an import from England seems to question your manhood.

"Try me if you dare!!" it boasts on the label. The top of the "Y" in Fiery curls into a devil's tail. And with the painted flames bursting from behind the letters, it seems clear this stuff is going to ginger the crap out of your mouth.

After popping the top, the scent is sweet, like the pickled ginger on a sushi plate. A sip goes down the same, and I'm waiting for a late, wasabi-like burn. Nothing. Instead, it's a ginger beer that's cloyingly sweet, like a malted ginger ale. Hot it's not.

Who should drink this? Someone looking to impress friends with feats of hot eats, or someone with vodka in need of a sweet mixer.
