JA World Uncorked, the annual event that pairs south Florida's best restaurants with fine wines at one of the most unique venues in Broward, has added a new element to this year's festivities -- craft beer.



The event, which will be held Saturday evening, January 19 from 6:30 - 10 :30 p.m. at Junior Achievement World at Huizenga Center at Broward College (1130 Coconut Creek Boulevard, Coconut Creek), features nearly 20 food and dessert stations, fine wines, and crafted cocktails.

Tickets for JA World Uncorked are $150 each, with proceeds to benefit Junior Achievement. Tickets include all food, drinks,

live entertainment by The Edge Band, a silent auction, and complimentary valet parking. Purchase

Taking

a cue from the craft beer craze that's been growing in south Florida,

the event has paired with Brown

Distributing to select a fine selection of beers and ales for your

drinking pleasure. Brown's is sponsoring this portion of your evening,

with the company's ambassador of brew, John Linn serving as host to

answer all your beer-related questions.

The carefully curated beer list includes:

Cigar City Jai Alai IPA

This American IPA is copper in color with notes of citrus and tropical fruit in the aroma. Upfront citrus bitterness with a hint of caramel and citrus and tropical fruit hop notes in the finish. 7.5% ABV.



Cigar City Maduro Brown 
Maduro is a Northern English-style brown ale with some American affectations, featuring flaked oats in the malt bill which imparts a silky body and works to mesh the roasted, toasted and chocolate components together in Maduro's complex malt profile.  5.5%

Palm Belgian Amber Ale
Palm has long been one of Europe's top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. 5.4%

Estaminet Premium Pilsner

Estaminet owes its premium status to high-quality ingredients: soft water, summer barley, distinctive yeast, Saaz hops. The pilsner is bottom fermented and matured six weeks for a smooth, crisp taste. 5.2%

Steenbruge Tripel
Belgian-style Triple beer with a malt character and fragrant hint of hops with Bruges' subtle herbal mixture. 8.7% ABV



Lindeman's Framboise

Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean taste. 4%

Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout

Chocolate beautifully melded to stout - deep, aromatic, and satisfying. Full body; roasted barley flavor; fruity notes from the Samuel Smith yeast strain support lush chocolate aroma, taste, and finish. 5% .

Samuel Smith Nut Brown 

A smooth ale with a bit of nuttiness from dark malt - no nuts are used in the recipe! Dry, medium-bodied; the Sam Smith ale yeast strain gives a fruity note to the finish. 5% ABV.

Ayinger Celebrator
Profoundly dark & rich with cascading layers of malt complexity. A lager, Celebrator gains richness and depth from exacting techniques. 6.7%

ABV.

Orval Trappist Ale 

Brewed and bottle-conditioned at Notre Dame d'Orval monastery, founded around 1070 AD in the Belgian countryside. This beer has a sunset-orange color; a fruity and slightly acidic bouquet, firm body, profound hop bitterness, and long, dry finish. 6.9%

ABV.

Sea Dog Blue Paw

This fruit ale features the nutty quench of wheat ale combined with Maine wild blueberries. 4.6% ABV.

Blue Point Hoptical Illusion

Hoptical Illusion IPA is brewed with a generous amount of select hops added five different ways for maximum hop flavor, balanced by a malty backbone yielding an intense, golden ale. 6.8%.

Blue Point Toasted Lager

Copper in color, this brew is made from six different malts, including English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat, and Belgian Caravienna. 5.5%

ABV.

Blue Point White IPA
This white IPA is an unfiltered European-style white ale with a fresh American IPA finish. Brewed with malted and unmalted wheat and just the right amount of west coast hops, it's fermented with German yeast to give it a perfectly balanced character with less bitterness than traditional IPAs. 6%.

Shipyard Prelude

This seasonal winter brew is a nutty, rich, full-bodied English ale with amber hue and a hoppy finish. 6.7% ABV.
