Just one month into the new year and already South Florida has welcomed a number of new restaurants to the area. The first 30 days of 2016 saw several high-profile restaurant openings across Broward and Palm Beach counties, including Clay Conley's long-awaited Grato in West Palm Beach and Miami import Pincho Factory in Pembroke Pines.

But that's not all. Late last month, we decided to get a sneak peak at the year ahead to list out the most anticipated concepts slated to open in the next 12 months. Turns out there's plenty of good food and drink to look forward to, from a couple of rooftop bars in Fort Lauderdale to a slew of fast-casual eateries that are taking a unique approach to fast(er) food.
