Last Minute Thanksgiving: What Grocery Stores Are Open?

So it's Thanksgiving, the turkey's in the oven, and you're about to start the sides when you realize you're out of cream and you totally forgot the cranberries! 

Don't panic. Though most stores are closed, we've compiled a list of stores that are open for any last minute items, whether you ran out of aluminum foil, need another bottle of Merlot, or burned the turkey!

Shops that are open (note:some have special holiday hours) are:

Winn-Dixie stores are open on Thanksgiving until 4 p.m.



24 Hour Wal-Mart stores (many of which house an entire supermarket) are open. Call ahead.

Whole Foods Markets are open until 2 p.m.

Albertsons is open until 4 p.m.

KMart stores are open until 9 p.m.

IGA Supermarkets are open until 6 p.m.

CVS is open (though pharmacies may be closed). Call ahead.

Walgreens is open (though pahrmacies may be closed). Call ahead.

If all else fails, Boston Market is open and serving turkey dinners with all the trimmings.
