Multiple wine and culinary tasting events throughout South Florida should keep food lovers plenty busy, and with any luck, the weekend weather will hold tight for the variety of outdoor foodie events (which was not exactly the case this past weekend). Free appetizers and drink specials will be offered, plus the baked goods that have been entered into the contest.

Marco Polo Tasting Social -- China Grill in Fort Lauderdale will host a tasting event inspired by the travels of Marco Polo with food like sushi, pan-seared spicy tuna, and curried chicken satay with lo mein. Everything will be paired with a wine or other adult beverage. The cost is $59 per person and the event is at 7 p.m. Call 954-759-9950 to RSVP.
