Matzo Ball 2010 in Delray Beach and Miami Beach

It's Christmas Eve and just about everyone you know is busy singing carols, wrapping last-minute presents or preparing cookies and milk for Santa. Except for you -- because you're single and Jewish.

What's a nice Jewish boy or girl to do on Christmas Eve?

Party like a rock star at the 24th annual Matzo Ball!

There are two South Florida Matzo Balls to choose from. Celebrity

hotspot LIV in Miami Beach will be hosting Matzo Ball for Broward and

Miami-Dade partiers. Palm Beachers get a double dose of Matzo-balling

with dual parties at Caliente Kitchen and Delux.

Matzo Ball is presented by The Society of Young Jewish Professionals,

which was formed in 1987 to connect Young Jewish professionals and

create matches. They claim to have been responsible for more than 1,000

marriages and thousands of friendships. Matzo Ball is their premiere

event, with Matzo Balls in 10 cities across America.

Matzo Ball goes from 9pm-2am and Jewish singles from 21-49 can meet

other Jewish singles, network, make new friends and dance the night

away. Each event will have D.J.'s spinning dance music and cash bars.

So while your Christian friends are spending the night singing "Deck The

Halls" with Aunt Ruth, you'll be downing tequila shooters and dirty

dancing to the club mix of "Dreidel, Dreidel". L'chaim!

Tickets are $30 each. Special VIP tickets for the Boca/Delray Matzo Ball

are $60 and include 2 free drinks. Purchase tickets in advance at or at the door.
