The poor woman had to put up with you parasitically stealing all her energy for nine months. She then had to deal with your screaming and crying throughout the night, your terrible two's, and your hellacious mood swings of pubescence.

In case you forgot, Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday. It's time to treat mom to something nice. With that in mind, we decided to compile a comprehensive list of high-end restaurants running specials for mom.

Broward

To celebrate all things mom, the restaurant is holding a Mother's Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The a la carte menu will feature a selection of lunch and traditional brunch items like crab cake benedict ($16), grilled hangar steak with truffle poached eggs and frites ($20), Belgian pancake stack with fresh berries, dulce de leche, and whipped cream ($13). If you're looking to head toward the beach with mom, Riva is offering three special seatings for its $75 per person ($35 per child ages 5-12), all inclusive brunch. The brunch includes a carving station, snow crab legs, artisan cheese board, dessert buffet, and, of course, mimosas. The seatings take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Call for reservations.

If your mom is a gambler or just a die hard Yankees fan, show her you care by taking her to the Yankee themed steakhouse at the Coconut Creek Casino. The spot is offering a $60 brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The brunch includes fresh seafood, carving stations, salads, egg and omelet stations, pancakes, pastries, and menu items such as smoked lobster eggs benedict and crème brulee French toast. Bloody Marys and mimosas are also part of the deal. Plus, every woman will receive a white rose. Call ahead for reservations.

If you're looking to score mom a view of the Atlantic, the beautiful Ocean2000 is hosting a fixed price brunch for $65 per adult, $32 per child ages 5-12. In addition to the view, the brunch features multiple stations. Reservation seatings take place at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

The waterfront restaurant is holding a prix fixe lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For $58 per adult, $15 per child, the restaurant will be offering seven stations offering a huge selection of food: breakfast station, raw bar, seasonal salad bar, etc.

If mom is not one to wait in a buffet line, Bistro Mezzaluna is offering a $60, five course full-service brunch, which includes a glass of bubbly for everyone and a rose for mom. Reservations are available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

If mom is into the farm-to-table thing, Market 17 is offering an a la carte brunch featuring a selection of farm fresh fare. Dishes like florida blueberry pancakes ($12), grassfed steak & eggs ($29), and sweet potato and hazelnut gnocchi ($13) are all going to be featured at the sustainable spot. Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Morning are not for everyone. If you're looking to take mom out for a special dinner, Casa D'Angelo is offering a special Mother's Day menu after 4 p.m. Call ahead for reservations.

In addition to the regular dinner menu, Timpano will be featuring a few specials for mom. Pan Seared Halibut served over grilled vegetable quinoa salad with Meyer lemon vinaigrette ($50), Petit Filet new potato and scallion hash, pancetta lardons, Madeira sauce ($45), Wild Mushroom Cannelloni roasted garlic cheese, truffled creamy béchamel sauce ($32), and a special strawberry short cake with vanilla whipped cream ($8). Also, thought the weekend, the restaurant will be featuring a special cocktail for mom. "Mother's Little Helper" ($10) combines Absolut Citron, St. Germaine, strawberry puree, lemonade, and sparkling wine--too bad you didn't think of that sooner. Dinner starts at 5 p.m.

Is mom the country club type? If so, you'd probably do well by taking her to Cafe Boulud on "the island." The chic spot is offering a buffet for $68 per adult, $35 for children 10 and under. Fresh soups and salads, charcuterie, and interactive pasta, omelet, and carving stations will be set up. And, of course, there will be some serious desserts. Beverages are not included.

For an educational dining experience, 32 East is holding a Mother's Day Wine Dinner, featuring a selection of Italian varietals. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $110 per person for food and wine, $70 just for food. Reservations required. Seating is limited.
