A pair of new faces are gracing Andrew's Restaurant, the niteclubby "American bistro" in Boca Raton that debuted in December of last year with former Barton G. chef Roberto Hernandez at the culinary helm.

New partner and long-time Boca-ite Vera Weiler has joined founder Andrew Pietrak, and the kitchen is now headed by well-known local chef Tulio Castilla, formerly of Ferraro's in Boca and, before that, chef-proprietor of his own Tulio's in Royal Palm Place.

Andrew's eclectic menu, which ranges from simple flatbreads to more elaborate steak and seafood dishes, remains mostly the same, plus a few dishes incorporating some of Castilla's Italian stylings.

With next door neighbors Moquila and Zup shuttered, they've got to be feeling a little lonely. But the restaurant biz isn't for the faint of heart or stomach.
