New Times' "Original" Beerfest Postponed

New Times' 17th-annual "Original" Beerfest has been postponed. The event, which was scheduled for April 5 at America's Backyard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, will be rescheduled for the fall.

This announcement in no way affects Brew at the Zoo, which is scheduled for Zoo Miami.

Broward's "Original" Beerfest will still benefit the Park Project, which honors the victims of 9/11 and celebrates those in uniform. And it will offer more than 100 beers ranging from exotic to the brewtastic.

If you purchased tickets, monies are in the process of being refunded; please allow five to seven days for your credit to appear.

Questions should be directed to New Times' director of marketing, Jennifer Nealon, at 305-571-7579.
