The owner of John G's Restaurant in Lake Worth, John Giragos, died on Wednesday following a stroke.

Giragos, who was 81, founded the popular breakfast and lunch spot in the Lake Worth Casino in 1973. The restaurant is operated by his children, and still enjoys the long lines that made it famous. Ask almost anyone that's lived in Palm Beach County, and they have a story about visiting Giragos' restaurant.

A funeral for Giragos is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs. Donations can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
