Paul Castronovo and Ron Brewer have been telling outrageous jokes over a span of three decades on South Florida's longest-running radio show, Paul and Young Ron, which airs on BIG 105.9. The wisecracking duo gives listeners a needed laugh during their hellish work commutes.

As funny as Castronovo's on-air personality is, you can take this man seriously -- he's also a foodie and wine connoisseur. In October, he launched his own Italian wine label, appropriately named Castronovo Vineyard.

On Thursday, January 13, you can

taste Castronovo's wine and enjoy scrumptious food and laughs.

Castronovo joins two of South Florida's most notable food personalities

-- Chef Oliver Saucy (of Café Maxx) and sommelier Andrew Lampasone (of

Wine Watch) -- for a cooking demonstration and showcasing of Castronovo

label wines. The class includes a sitdown dinner.

The event costs $65 plus tax and gratuity and will take place at Café

Maxx. Reservations are required. It starts at 5 p.m. Call 954-782-0606.
