Pizza Fusion's Daily Deals

Everybody's talking deals these days -- as in two-for-one happy hour free bottles of wine or chicken wings or dessert all-you-can-eat-type deals. Pizza Fusion, the new organic eco-friendly pizza joint in North Miami Beach (14815 Biscayne Blvd.) is running a whole bunch of daily dingers. Mondays, for instance, bring  a free "personal" pizza (6 inch by 9 inch) with any purchase of $25 or more. If you spend the same amount on Tuesdays, a free bottle of organic house wine will come your way. Bring the kids along on Wednesdays and each one under 12 gets his own pizza with a $25 order -- limited to two per family, so if you've got more children than that, presumably you'll have to leave them home. Hey, no one said deals are perfect.

So where were we? Oh yes, Thursday -- or as Pizza Fusion calls it, Go With a Friend Thursday: Purchase a large pizza and receive two glasses of beer, wine, or soda. Appetizers, beer, and glasses of house wine are all 50 percent off during happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m.

On the third Saturday of each month, from 10 to11 a.m. (you're jotting this all down, right?), the Kids Organic Club meets and aims to teach children 6 to 10 years of age about organic foods, keeping the Earth green, and so forth. Each member gets to participate in activities, art, and the noshing of snacks. Upcoming classes are based on the three R's... reduce, reuse, and recycle. No, really, I am not making this up.

During those rare times when there is no deal happening at Pizza Fusion, the deal is this: Its pizza happens to be delicious.
