Federal Highway; 561-391-9110) will morph into the Smokehouse, a purveyor of serious barbecue and the second barbecue joint to open on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton this year. Tamarind Ave.; 561-833-1713), the West Palm eatery that's dished up close to 10 million burgers from its modest Tamarind Avenue space since 1947, has reopened following a city-financed face-lift.
