South Florida Beer Week: Here's Your Complete Event List For Broward/Palm Beach

South Florida Beer Week is coming and just about everywhere you turn in Broward and Palm Beach counties there are multiple places to celebrate our state's growing brew culture., culminating in one giant beer festival.

Saturday, January 19

Sunday, January 20
La Caja China Pig Roast
noon - closing at Sybarite Pig

Caja China Pig Roast with Cigar City brews, including draft and cans. $30 gets you all you can eat and either one pour of CCB draft or two beers from a select bottle/can menu. Live music will keep everyone entertained.

Cigar City and Due South Kick-Off

Time TBA at Putt 'in Around Miniature Golf Course

Join Phil from Cigar City Brewing Company and Mike from Due South Brewing Company for beer and mini-golf. All-inclusive price TBA.

Monday, January 21
Cigar City Brewing Night
6 p.m. at The Blind Monk

Limited run and one-off bottles of Cigar City available.

Local Cheese and Beer Pairing

7:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. at Total Wine Palm Beach Gardens

Total Wine (11221 Legacy Avenue) will be partnering with a distributor of gourmet cheeses from the state of Florida for this pairing featuring five cheeses and  five local brews The pairing will be led by local cheese mongers and representatives of local breweries. Ticketing info to come soon.

Tuesday, January 22

Cigar City Tastings
4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Whole Foods Fort Lauderdale

Come out to Whole Foods and try Cigar City's new cans - Jai Alai, Maduro, and Florida Cracker.

All Florida Tapocalypse
5 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. at Funky Buddha Lounge

This tap takeover includes Berlinerweisses, big name beers, and some new brews, including a fruit-treated dark sour.  Aside from Buddha's own specialty brews, there will be some rare and limited tappings from Florida breweries including Swamp Head, Engine 15, and  Three Palms.

Cigar City Brewery Night

7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Tap 42

Each evening, Tap 42 will feature a different Florida brewery. Tonight, Cigar City takes the taps.

Wednesday, January 23

Florida Brewery Tap Takeover

7 p.m. at Laser Wolf

Featuring a smartly curated selection of brews from across the state, including brews from Swamp Head, Mile Marker, Engine 15, Tequesta, Cigar City, and more.

South Florida Beer Week Night

7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Dixie Bar & Grill

Featuring $3 drafts, a gourmet slider pairing special (three sliders & a beer for $10), and a pint glass giveaway when you buy a beer (while supplies last). A dozen Florida drafts will be featured.

Tequesta Night

7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Tap 42

Tequesta brewery is featured tonight.

Cigar City Night and Pairing Dinner
7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at El Jefe Luchador

For this "classy beer can dinner," El Jefe will serve four courses paired with four beers from Cigar City, including the brand new Jai Alai, Maduro, and Florida Cracker Cans. Only 25 seats will be available, with Tickets and menu info released on Friday, January 18. Dinner starts at 7pm.

Local Tap Takeover

8 p.m. - 11 p.m. at J.G. McGuiness

The bar will feature some rare and one-off craft brews from Florida, plus live


Thursday, January 24
South Florida Beer Week Celebration
All evening at American Social

American Social's taps fill up with a host of options from Florida. Beer pairing specials to be announced.

Tequesta Night

4 p.m. - 11 p.m. at The Blind Monk

eatured beers include Belgian Dubbel Pumpkin and White IPA from Tequesta Brewing Company. 

Cigar City Treatment

6 p.m. - 10 p.m. at BX Beer Depot

Cigar City staff will be on hand to talk about their brews. On hand tonight are six special treatment ales and one-off brews.

Local Beer Tasting and Pairing
6:30 - 8:30 at Whole Foods Boca Raton
Come try your favorite local beers paired up with beer-friendly grub. $10 for unlimited sampling.

Drink Like a Local Night
7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Tap 42
Try a range of beers from local breweries, plus a special firkin tapped for one night only!

Hollywood Craft Beer Pub Crawl
7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Various Venues -- starts at Tipsy Boar
A $10 donation to charity will get you a

Drink Like a Local card, good for special prices at each stop. Get a

stamp on purchase at each stop in the crawl, and you'll some special

keepsakes at the end of the evening. <
Friday, January 25
Anything but Clothes
8 p.m. - 2 a.m. at Ye Olde Falcon
Dress in anything but traditional clothing and enjoy

Cigar City and Holy Mackerel beers on tap. We're thinking this is a good time to brush off those Ren Faire tights or kilt.

Saturday, January 26
Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival

Closing out the week is the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival, featuring over 150 beers from 30-plus breweries. Online tickets are sold out, but 1,500 tickets remain to be sold at the door. Details here.
