Monday

For the Love of the Grape

Mondays suck. Drink away the pain on the cheap at 3030 Ocean. From 6 to 10 pm, every Monday 3030 Ocean in the Harbor Beach Marriott offers half-off all bottles of wine, which start at just 30 bucks. That should help ease you into the workweek.

Tuesday

New York Grilled Cheese Grand Opening

If you're one of those people who wishes it was possible to transcend back into childhood--minus the whole puberty period, of course--you're dream shop is hosting its official Grand Opening. New York Grilled Cheese, housed in the back of the self-serve Nuts About Yogurt, is celebrating itself on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm with Emcee Misty Eyez. Raffle prizes will be given out and 20% of all proceeds will benefit Broward House. Drag queens, cheese, and charity. Is there any way it could possibly be more awesome? Doubt it. Meet the Winemaker

You frequently drink wine, but do you really consider what goes into making the delicious nectar of the gods? Doubtfully, you most likely just like getting drunk. Well, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm, it's your chance to meet Jean-Charles Thomas, the Winemaker for Louis Latour. Hosted at Crown Wine and Spirits in Fort Lauderdale, the event includes a two-hour sit-down tasting with light apps, meet & greet, bottle signing, and ability to purchase limited wines. $10 Pasta Tuesdays

Food and drink events can put some pressure on the wallet after a while. Unless you have unlimited funds, it's nice to get a break every once in a while. Starting this month, every Tuesday night Marola's Trattoria in Cooper City is offering all of its pasta dishes for 10 bucks with 10 different bottles of wine on special for $15. Italian Wine Tasting

Everyone likes Italians: they're passionate and sexy, yet elegant and refined. We're talking about the wines. Taste some on Tuesday at Panaretto Pizzeria Trattoria on Cordova Rd. in Fort Lauderdale. Wednesday

Ladie's Night

You've finally reached hump day. Ladies, you probably should celebrate with the girls. Gentlemen, here's your chance to creep on said ladies. Every Wednesday, Salt 7 in Delray Beach offers free drinks for the ladies until 11 pm and free sushi for everyone all night long. DJ Vinsane spins until 2 am. Tuscan Wine Tasting

Let's be honest: alcohol is one of the few external factors that can seriously help out on a bad date. Increase your chances of having fun at the Tuscan Wine Tasting at Darryl and Oliver's Café Maxx, Wednesday May 8 at 6:30 pm. DaDa Bazaar

We're all kind of busy these days. Work probably takes up a large majority of your time. If you need to multitask eating, shopping, and socializing in one event, DaDa is holding its monthly Dada Bazaar on Thursday. Hosted by Taylor Adair Boutique and Couture Accessories by J & K, the event features homemade crafts in a restaurant/ bar setting. Bachelor/ Bachelorette Auction

For the record: human trafficking is illegal. But selling men and women for charity is totally fine. Thursday at 7 pm, Roxy's in West Palm Beach will be hosting the 6th Annual Bachelor/ Bachelorette Auction for Juvenile Diabetes Research. Benefitting the Ride to Cure Team for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, tickets are $35 in advance, $50 at the door.
