South Florida Fair

Monday gets a bad rap. Why not spice it up? Just because the Super Bowl is behind us, doesn't mean you can't fit a little party into your plans. The South Florida Fair (9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach) is in full-effect, and everyone knows the best part about fairs is the food! Just don't fill up on elephant ears and turkey legs before you get on Gravitron. All those noms taste way better the first time - trust us. The fair is open Monday, and every weekday, from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $8 for children 6 to 11, and free for kids younger than 5. Call 561-793-0333 or visit

Food Truck Invasion Family Night

People still can't get enough food truck, and Plantation wants their community to get in on the fun. Every Tuesday night, you can let your kids run wild and eat your fill at Plantation Heritage Park (1100 S. Fig Tree Lane, Plantation). This week's menu offers food, snack and desserts from 22 delicious participants, including 2 Jive Turkeys, Che Grill, Liquid N2 Ice Cream, Monster Burgers, The Rolling Stove and much more. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and stays open until 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, so what are you waiting for? Call 305-612-7779 or visit
