Monday

Basic Desserts and Pastries

Everyone likes a good sweet treat to finish off a meal. On Monday, Chef Jean-Pierre Cooking School is going to be teaching students how to make mind-blowing desserts, including creme Anglaise, fruit coulis, chocolate roulade, black cherry clafoutis, frangelico zabaglione and much more. More Moro Bottle Release

Funky Buddha is at it again. The brewery is holding another shindig to celebrate its newest special bottle release. Moro Moro Blood Orange IPA is an infusion of real blood oranges (moro) for an intensely citrus-y flavor and aroma. Each bottle is $12 and will be available for purchase from 6 p.m. onward. GastroTour 2014 - DIG

If you're looking to make your way around the world of food, Denise's Foodie Events has got you covered. On Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., it's hosting a healthy and ethical tasting menu at DIG Restaurant in Delray Beach. For $35 per person, guests are invited to a welcome cocktail reception and a seated dinner on the patio, with items like eggplant rollatini, chicken caesar flatbread, trio of sliders, and dessert samplers. Beachside Pre-Summer Kick-Off Party at Dos Caminos to Benefit LLS Man of the Year

Savor Tonight and Dos Caminos are hosting a beach-side soiree. 2010 LLS Man of the Year, Louie Salaben is helping to raise money for this year's LLS Man of the Year candidate, Jon Hines. For $15 in advance or $20 at the door - this includes two (2) drinks (choice of beer, wine or a margarita), a selection of complimentary hors d'oeuvres and comped valet (valid for up to 70 people) -- a portion of which will go to LLS.

Funky Buddha & Cigar City Beer Dinner

What's better than one great local brewery paired with amazing fare? Two Florida brewers with amazing fare. On Wednesday, Kapow! Noodle Bar is hosting Cigar City and Funky Buddha for a meal that is sure to impress. It's offering two seatings: one at 6 p.m. and another at 8 p.m. The cost to attend is $45 per person. Learning to Grow With Farmer Jay

Pre-Cinco de Mayo Party in the Garden

Everyone is amping up for tequila, tacos, and delicious, spicy food. In preparation for Cinco de Mayo Bistro Ten Zero One is hosting a pre-party in the garden on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Executive chef Chris DeGweck is taking his grills outside to make some flavorful South of the Border fare with a modern twist. Yelp BPB's BurstDay!

Parties are always a welcome escape from the workweek, especially when it's a free party. On Wednesday, Yelp is celebrating its one-year community anniversary in Broward at Young at Art Museum in Davie. Cinco Platos

Dim Sum a Yum Yum

Dim sum is the original small plates -- sorry, tapas. Learn how to do it the way the restaurants do at Publix Aprons Cooking School on Thursday.
