New Thai Cuisine

In South Florida there's a Thai-sushi joint on the corner of nearly every street. Sure, it's good. But wouldn't it be nice to whip of some different Thai options on your own? Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School will show you how on Tuesday. At 7:30 p.m., it's hosting a New Thai cuisine class, with creative recipes like Thai curry chicken cake and sticky rice with coconut cream. The cost to attend is $68 per person. Women + Wine

Girl's nights tend to be a good time -- there's no dealing with any pesky pick-up lines. The restaurant is teaming up with a wildlike foundation to raise awareness for safari animals -- not cougars, sorry. The event kicks off at 9 p.m.
