Chef Pairing Series at Kapow!
Dating, whether it's with a long-term partner or new fling, can be awkward much of the time - adding tequila tends to help just about everything. If you're looking for the perfect excuse to drink copious amounts of fermented juice from the agave plant, Kapow! Noodle Bar is hosting a Chef Pairing series dinner with Partida tequila at 6 and again 8 p.m. on Wednesday December 11. The cost to attend is $45 per person.
Wine Up Wednesdays
Himmarshee Public House might be touting itself as a sports lounge but happen to be an "upscale" sports lounge -- thank you very much -- and that means it's not all beer and bacon. Probably the single greatest way to countdown to Christmas ever! Definitely better that that thing your Nana crochet where you have to move the Christmas tree from one pocket to the next. (We love you, Nana!) Everyday until the Dec. 23, World of Beer-Clematis will be spotlighting different holiday beers. Come in, grab a pint and get entered to win a different raffle present every day. Speak Up! For Kids Annual Holiday Social at Longboards
Who doesn't like their food-related fun with a side of philanthropy? Speak Up! For Kids of Palm Beach County, Inc. raises funds to support Palm Beach County's Guardian ad Litem Program in their efforts to recruit, train and support Guardians ad Litem (GALs). GALs are court-appointed volunteers who serve as advocates for the best interests of abused, abandoned and neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings. On December 12 attend the organization's annual holiday social at Longboards from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $20 per ticket or $10 plus a new unwrapped toy or gift card for our Holiday Wish Drive. Steak 954 Wine Pairing Dinner
The only thing that makes a fancy steak dinner even more fancy is if it's a pairings dinner. Well, put on your fancy pants and make sure they're stretchy because on Thursday, December 12, Steak 954 is welcoming guests to a special Estate dinner in honor of Helen Buehler of Buehler Estate Wines. The dinner features a carefully curated five course menu perfectly paired with wines from the Buehler Estate. The five course meal will start off with tapas and wrap up with dessert.
