Ten Best Easter Brunches in Palm Beach County

If there was ever a day created specifically for brunch, some could argue Easter Sunday would be that day. After a long morning of Easter-egg hunting and Peeps, there's nothing like a few mimosas and a sizable brunch buffet to revive you.

When the family festivities have died down and you're feeling a little stir crazy after church, head to any of these Palm Beach County establishments to get your brunch on. Whether you're in the mood for a little bowling or maybe even a high-class polo match, we've got you covered.

10. Fork & Knife

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but we think brunch is better. Especially Easter brunch at Fork & Knife, which is serving Easter Sunday both indoors and outdoors (or its expansive bar patio) where you can dine on specialties including Captain Crunch French Toast, Brisket Hash and the F&K Signature Burger. F&K also offers $12 bottomless mimosas (in three flavors!) and $15 bottomless bloody marys. Cap'n Crunch French Toast, priced at $10, boasts extra-thick-cut challah bread battered in Cap'n Crunch cereal and served with maple syrup and fresh whipped cream. Also priced at $10 is the Brisket Hash; crispy brisket and potato hash topped with three fried eggs. The Signature F&K Burger has been updated with sharp cheddar cheese, a fried egg, crispy onion straws, bacon jam and F&K burger sauce, all served on a toasted challah bun and includes hand-cut fries for $14.

9. Vic & Angelo's

Palm Beach Gardens and Delray Beach Vick & Angelo's will be serving up its annual Easter Sunday buffet brunch along with regular a la carte menus both day and evening. Both restaurants offer a wide range of culinary options from an expansive menu, including fresh, house-made pastas, V&A original thin-crust pizzas, as well as a lineup of superb veal, chicken, and seafood dishes. Chef Alain Zimmer, at the Palm Beach Gardens restaurant, and chef Erick Miranda, at the Delray Beach restaurant, will be creating a myriad of special dishes for the holiday. At both restaurants, diners can opt to dine on Easter buffets from 10 to 3 p.m. The buffets will feature a hot carving station with prime rib and bone-in honey-glazed ham; a raw bar with peel-and-eat shrimp and snow crab; an omelet station; assorted fruit and cheese platters and salads; scrambled eggs; French toast; eggs benedict; Italian hash browns; mussels Fra Diavolo; chicken piccata; rigatoni bolognese; and an array of delectable, house-made Italian pastries. All adult diners, who opt for this Easter buffet, will also receive a complimentary glass of rose' champagne. The buffet costs $39.95 per adult, and $19.95 for children from ages 6-10 ( tax and gratuity are additional). For each adult, who orders the Easter buffet, up to two children (ages five and under) can eat for free. At both restaurants, the regular a la carte menus will be available for brunch, and from 3 to 10 p.m.

8. Pistache French Bistro

Nothing says decadent Easter Sunday brunch quite like Pistache French Bistro in downtown West Palm Beach, which will be offering a special supplement menu on April 20th available from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Patrons craving special holiday experience will include brunch, lunch and dinner items, as well as a signature dessert. The Easter menu features include roast leg of lamb with bouquetiere of spring vegetables, basmati rice pilaf and dijon lamb jus. Butter poached Maine lobster with sautéed asparagus, roasted fingerling potatoes and Béarnaise sauce. Jumbo lump crab omelette with cream fraiche, herbs, shallots and black truffle.

7. Farmer's Table

With vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available Farmer's Table is the perfect spot to enjoy a healthy Easter brunch or dinner. Choose from breakfast options such as Black Skillet Morning Hash, Multigrain Longcakes, Farmhouse Granola Parfait, Cage-Free Eggs, and more. For those who enjoy their meat for dinner, fear not as Farmer's Table offers options such as Braised Prime Short Rib, Grass-Fed Burger or Bison & Cranberry Meatloaf in addition to Fresh Greens, Pan-Seared Sea Scallops, Butterflied Trout among other delicious and organic menu options.

6. The Office

If you're desiring a juicy burger with fries, or baked ham with all of the trimmings, head to The Office in Delray Beach for Easter Sunday. This long-time modern American gastropub will be serving an array of a la carte specials, as well as dishes from the regular menu, throughout Easter Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. This year executive chef Bryan Ramos is serving an a la carte Easter special menu that includes a divine-sounding pineapple rum-glazed baked ham with sweet potato and charred asparagus. Seafood highlights include a crab-stuffed snapper or lobster bisque. Of course, standard menu favorites will also be available including the prime office cheeseburger, or the crispy office tacos featuring shrimp or chicken. There will also be a selection of decadent desserts like a house made salted caramel truffle gelato, or a Ghirardelli brownie sunday. The popular maple-glazed donuts with bacon bits will also be making a comeback.

5. Revolutions

For a real family-style Easter brunch visit newly-opened Revolutions at City Place in West Palm Beach. The bowling alley-club-bar-restaurant has all the amenities for a great day of fun and food. Why? It's 35,000-square-feet of luxury entertainment, right smack in the heart of West Palm's City Place. The space features a dining area serving contemporary American cuisine, a high energy bar atmosphere -- even a stadium-style sports amphitheater and 20 boutique style bowling lanes. If all that doesn't sound tempting enough, the Easter brunch menu they have planned for April 20th will. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. try your hand at eggs "your way" served with applewood smoke bacon, ham and sausage. Or go for the buttermilk biscuits smothered in sausage gravy with a side of fresh seasonal fruit. Everything is less than $15, so it's a bargain if you're looking for good food at a great price, plus a little kid-style entertainment to keep you busy all afternoon.

4. Testa's

Nearly a century old, this place does Palm Beach brunch like no other. And the same goes for Easter Sunday, when the menu is spiffed-up to include specials dishes for a special day. It's a place that's known for serving cocktails at 7 a.m., seven days a week. Take a seat at one of the famous outdoor patio tables for breakfast, and order a bloody mary or a rum and Coke to wash down plates of ham, steak, and eggs, smoked salmon and bagels, or a bowl or two of their famous cream of crab soup spiked with sherry. With the Island's balmy ocean breeze and perfect people-watching, there's no better place to spend a day after church.

3. The Atlantic Grill

If you're up for a little sun, surf and seafood-centric fare, visit the Atlantic Grill at the Delray Beach Seagate hotel from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the dinner menu offered from 2:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Enjoy signature seafood, steaks, pasta and salads, all prepared with finesse and flair. Opt to be serenaded by a live guitarist and served at the lively bar and lounge, or take in the scene while dining alfresco amidst the breeze. The Atlantic Grille is also home to 450-gallon aquarium of tranquil moon jellyfish, and a 2,500-gallon tank that displays a variety of exotic sharks. Dine on Easter Sunday and enjoy specials designed just for spring

holiday with menu items created by Executive Chef Adam Gottlieb, including a spinach, strawberry and brie salad ($12); apricot and ginger-glazed ham served with maple-glazed carrots, grilled asparagus, roasted fingerling potatoes ($26); or an herb-roasted lamb loin with roasted cherry tomatoes, squash roasted garlic and pea purée ($29). The restaurant will also be serving mimosas and Bloody Mary's, if that's the treat you're looking for instead.

2. Dune Deck Cafe

This open-air eatery sits atop Lantana Public Beach, with every seat in the house affording an unobstructed view of the Atlantic. The area's bohemian vibe is reflected in the menu, with Greek and Caribbean influences and some great specialty breakfast items. Even on Easter Sunday house favorites like lobster Benedict is available, served with a tail's worth of fresh Florida lobster and poached egg with plenty of creamy Hollandaise sauce. The stuffed French toast is another stellar pick, packed with a fragrant blend of raisins, apples, figs, and dates. Expect to keep ordering bloody mary's and mimosas, because you may need to wait for a table. Reservations aren't available, even on Easter Sunday.
