You love Dad, the top guy in your life. And yes, you love the father (or stepfather) of your children. And you love your brother, who procreated to give you some adorable nieces and nephews.

Heck, maybe mom has always been all the dad you ever needed.

No matter who they are, you love them so much, you've decided to give them a gift they'll actually appreciate this Father's Day: food, beer, and the opportunity to enjoy both without lifting a finger.

If you're tired of the same old boring gifts, but not sure what to do or where to bring that special father figure in your life come Sunday, June 19, here are ten events happening this Father's Day in South Florida that will let dad sit back and relax — and you won't have to do too much, either.

10. Treat Dad to a Full Moon Beer Pairing Dinner at Shooters Waterfront
3033 NE 32nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-566-2855, or visit shooterswaterfront.com.
Enjoy a cold beer — or, more precisely, five — with Dad at Shooters Waterfront’s monthly event. The restaurant will present a five-course beer pairing menu for $49 per person. While star- and sky-gazing from Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway, sous chef Brian Cornellius will lead guests through each tasting course with paired brews specifically chosen to accentuate the palate. The full moon festivities on Father's Day will commence with a welcome glass of the restaurant’s recently launched Shooters Ale.

9. Half-Priced Beer and Kids Eat Free at Big Time Restaurants
Visit bigtimerestaurants.com.
This Father's Day, the Big Time Restaurant Group eateries will be treating dads to half-priced draft and bottled beer all day (and night). The offer is good with the purchase of an entree. If you have kids, the deal gets even sweeter. Those under the age of 10 can eat free from the kid's menu when accompanying dad on his special day. Participating restaurants include Louie Bossi's Ristorante and Big City Tavern in Fort Lauderdale; Grease Burger, Beer & Whiskey Bar and City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill in West Palm Beach; City Oyster & Sushi Bar in Delray Beach; and all Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar locations.

8. Win a Car for Dad at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
5550 NW 40th St., Coconut Creek. Call 954-977-6700, or visit seminolecoconutcreekcasino.com.
Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will be honoring dads by offering a number of dining options as well as the opportunity to win a 2016 BMW Z4 Roadster or up to $1,000 in Free Play. On the dining front, the casino's steak house, NYY Steak, will present its signature Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The brunch is $75 per person. Next door, Legends Lounge will also be offering a limited a la carte menu served only at the bar from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., while Sorrisi, the property’s Italian restaurant, will offer Father’s Day specials from noon to 9 p.m. The entrees include crab-stuffed flounder provencal and herb-crusted, roasted ribeye. At Fresh Harvest, another of the property's establishments, a Father’s Day brunch is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ($35 per person; $17 for children 10 and under). It includes endless mimosas and sparkling wine as well as one pound of crab legs. Also on Father’s Day, between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to win a 2016 BMW Z4 Roadster (or up to $1,000 in Free Play). There will be 10 winners every hour.

7. Glennfiddich Scotch Whiskey Tasting at Total Wine
11221 Legacy Ave., Palm Beach Gardens. Call 561-622-7340, or visit totalwine.com.

You and Dad will be able to on June 18, however, when Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Glenfiddich brand ambassador Mitch Bechard will be hosting a special tasting at Total Wine in Palm Beach Gardens Legacy Place. The discussion will be filmed live from the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland; it will also be aired within 40 more Total Wine stores across the U.S. Throughout the tasting, fathers and guests will be given a chance to sample Glenfiddich 12-, 14-, 15-, and 18-year aged selections. The event will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. Tickets for this event are $20 per person, available on Eventbrite.com

You can do both if you head to Burt & Max’s in Delray Beach, which is hosting one of its special cigar and whiskey nights on Wednesday, June 15. While it’s not geared to just the fathers out there, all gentlemen (or women, if they so please) are welcome to join. Think of it as a pre-celebration to surprise Dad — especially if you're looking to avoid the crowds during the weekend festivities. The event is $30 per person ($35 at the door) and takes place June 15, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Ticket prices include a Man Cave's Gentlemen's master cut or master hot shave on site; a cigar from Casa Magna by Quasada Cigars, presented by Smoke Inn Delray Beach; Gentlemen Jack and other Jack Daniels Whiskey tastings; and passed hors d'oeuvres by Burt & Max's executive chef Dan Moore. The Dapper Market will feature vendors and local businesses showcasing and selling their artisan boutique products, services, and goods — all of which are geared toward men. Over 35 booths will transform Revolution Live into a pop-up marketplace featuring a variety of products geared specifically for men. That includes locally made beard oils; handcrafted belts, wallets and other leather goods; "mantiques"; unique bowties, cufflinks, and other accessories; and locally designed T-shirts and clothing. Food trucks will be onsite all day, and Revolution Live will keep their full bars open. For non-drinkers, Panther Coffee at Stache will also be open all day with espressos, cold brews, Americanos, and other coffee beverages.
