Tuesday Deals Offer More Than Tacos

Some can't resist the siren song of all-you-can-eat specials at Rocco's Tacos or $1 tacos at Treasure Trove on Tuesdays. Turns out, Tuesdays aren't just for taco deals. It's a good day to take advantage of restaurant deals and happy hours as well as market price breaks. Chances are, you'll also enjoy a little extra elbow room too. Here's a short list of deals to be had today.

Muffulettas at Shuck N Dive
Tuesdays are the only day you'll find this oversized meaty sandwich on the menu here. Capicola, salami, ham, pepperoni, Swiss, and provolone is doused with olive salad and served on a Sicilian roll for $10.95. Not the least expensive sandwich, but a delicious one.

Lobster at Quarterdeck

Every Tuesday and Thursday for $13.95, a 1 1/4-pound lobster is served with drawn butter and a choice of side --

slaw, fries, baked potato, sweet potato fries, taters, or mixed veggies,

or steamed broccoli.

Bacon, Eggs, and Pork Tenderloin at Fresh Market
Tuesdays are deal days at Fresh Market, where this month it's buy one, get one free for bacon, eggs, and pork tenderloin. Not your bag? Pay attention: Last month, it was steak and lobster. There's bound to be something you'd like.

Half Price Wine Night at Coconuts and G&B Oyster Bar

Wine that's already fairly priced is halved Mondays and Tuesdays. It's a no-brainer if you're looking to save a few dollars or shop up for a more expensive bottle. If you're not a big drinker, you can always take home what's left.

Happy Hour at Tap 42
Half-price wine, half-price rails, and deals on select bottles of beer can be had here on Tuesdays and every other weekday from 4 to 7 p.m.
