According to WPLG Local 10 News, on Monday, April 14, at around 10:10 p.m., deputies responded to a call from the Weston location of Baires Grill, located at a quiet shopping plaza where usually the wildest action is a spirited Malbec wine debate between two retirees. However, on this particular night, the drama usually seen in telenovelas happened right in the middle of the dining room.
According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Levy was allegedly highly intoxicated and causing a ruckus at Baires Grill. Details are still trickling in, but witnesses say Levy was loud and refused to leave even after the manager asked several times, all in front of a deputy.Actor William Levy cracks joke with reporters as he's released from Florida jail for drunken restaurant incident https://t.co/1dgs9SwA4a

When law enforcement got involved, Levy, 44, reportedly ignored "multiple verbal commands" to leave the premises, which is when things heated up more than an Argentine steak on the grill. Soon after, he was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing and booked at Broward County Jail. A judge later granted him a $500 bond, probably while thinking, "Baires Grill? Seriously?"
To be fair, we don't know why Levy picked Baires Grill as the stage for his unexpected public meltdown. Maybe he was craving a medium-rare entraña with extra chimichurri. Maybe he mistook the live tango guitarist for an open mic night. Social media, of course, exploded with disbelief, with one tweet summing it up best:
"William Levy arrested at Baires Grill? That's like getting thrown out of an Olive Garden. What's next—Dwayne Johnson body-slamming someone at a Red Lobster?" For now, William Levy has yet to publicly comment on the incident, which hopefully becomes the inspiration for the next novela he stars in.
